Daytrader, featuring former members of Crime In Stereo, Latterman, and Divider, has been touring in support of Twelve Years, their debut full-length album released this May on Rise Records.
When writing Twelve Years, the band didn’t know what to expect. They just wrote music that they would want to hear…that they were happy playing. This follow up to the EP Last Days Of Rome (released in early 2011) was produced by Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, The Early November).
Daytrader passed through Texas earlier this month during a tour with The Wonder Years, including a few dates on The Zumiez Couch Tour. The free show outside San Antonio’s Ingram Park Mall was but a practice run for fans heading to Warped Tour this year.
After the show, we caught up with Matt, Derrick, and Gary, who talked about the new album, the Pop Punk The Vote Tour experience, and goals for the band.

Upcoming for Daytrader: The Early November record release shows for In Current, Today’s Mixtape Festival (Day 3) in New York with Such Gold, and a handful of shows in Canada with Living With Lions, The Swellers, and Major League.
