Last week’s show at Red 7–with Title Fight, Pianos Become The Teeth, Single Mothers, and Power Trip–drew one of the wildest crowds I’ve seen this year. The line of excited fans filled the alley, while already inside were the (even more excited) fans that made it out before doors.
There was still a sizeable line when Single Mothers opened the show. Their energy was apparent from just listening from outside, and when inside, you’d see that the band was, in fact, very lively. Pianos Become The Teeth also put on a good show, with a great performance from singer Kyle Durfey. Power Trip was all stage dives. And can’t forget the mosh pit right behind me. Title Fight, while less aggressive, was full of pumped fans running across the stage and jumping into the crowd. They closed with a favorite, “27.”
