Varsity Week, an alternative-pop band from Los Angeles, California, have released their debut single “Anyways”. Varsity Week recently signed with Another Century Records, and are currently working on their debut album which is due out next year. “Anyways” was produced by Jim Kaufman and AWOLNATION’s Kenny Carkeet, and is currently streaming at Twist Magazine and on YouTube, or click below.
Varsity Week tells Twist Magazine the core of “Anyways” is about, “being yourself and doing whatever you want. If someone doesn’t like that, it doesn’t matter anyways.”
“Anyways” is catchy, energetic, infectious and most of all, fun to listen to. After listening to “Anyways”, I can’t wait to see what Varsity Week comes up with for their debut album! If this is your first introduction to Varsity Week, do yourself a favor and give “Anyways” a listen. The song is only about three and half minutes long, what have you got to lose? You may just find yourself becoming Varsity Week’s newest fan.
